hve seen it all+ then some on the #nyc #subway. tho ive seen EVERY human oddity private+ personal as public as possible in a subway car, nothing has yet topped the eel i once saw jump out of a ladies grocery bag in #chinatown+ try 2 make a ” run” 4 it. the imagery of tht ws amazing+ seeing tough #newyorkers jump 10 ft over something so harmless ws hysterical.one thing i haven’t seen tho tht i saw all the x growing up in chicago is the shell game. you know the 3 shell deal? i saw ppl lose their entire friday paychecks on the train from 35th to 87th+ if for some reason the unsuspecting person ws able 2 win, the shell man would signal his decoy( always teams) 2 get off the train, follow tht person, coat job them( remember tht? a friend who grew up in williamsburg + said they used 2 coat job ppl on bikes over the bridge—tht is throw a coat on top of the person, stick a bat in the wheel…+ well….welcome to yr “new” bike….so mean) + take those ” winnings” back. this is pre cell phone era,was all silent eye crime communication…tho there were pagers. remember those? so ridiculous. i really appreciate new yorkers instinct tho, tht i didnt learn in chicago, mainly the run now ask later scenario… thts an amazing moment in human socialization+ group instinctual thinking (when its not something deeply sad+ tragic….enough of tht already!) nyc is a great city. i love new yorkers so much…#nyc #music #art #love #life #liveoutloud

So we jst finished the art work 4 the nxt coin coin #record yesterday. Whew!!! it is soooooooo beautiful, im actually stunned by it myself…I wish i cld share a photo of it w/ everyone 2day, bt good things come 2 those who wait… In the meantime heres a few pages from an old score from the 1st record. Making colorful scores is really fun. This was an actual music game for the band. Right now am working mostly w variations of black+another primary color that if u have spent time in person w/ me u kno what color that is… they are my spirit colors at this point….
