so this used 2 b a used bookstore. changed my life.i sold books, i smiled a lot, laughed feverishly, cried questionably, fought, fell in + out of love here, made out here, hid out here. i ate, slept, dreamt big dreams +read great books here. evry friend i evr mde here (human+furry) is still a great friend 2day+ evn a few enemies i hd here ended up bcoming close friends later aft we all finally grew up+ovr the petty stuff tht ws somex’s billyburg pre ‘06. lots of 1sts too, my 1st encounter w/nypd ws here, which led 2 my 1st+hopefully last x sitting in an interrog room doing the lineup id thing( being encouraged 2 pick some1 who ws nt the perp). i hd a false eyelash phase 4 a minute+ 1/2 here, i bought those lashes for 2 dollars from a 50 yr old raven haired coke eyed lady gypsy musician i felt real bad 4, who also sold cheap chinatown jewelry+ wld complain abt hw madonna stole her music + her moves ( #anythingispossible). i got amazingly swindled for 20 bucks here by an 80 yr old bk coney island born righteous russian witchy looking psychic + i got taught how 2 mke tinfoil rotate on a free standing pin by a cali transplanted street magician here using “hippy vibes”. i rubbed shoulders here w/some of my fave writers tht i read growing up in Chicago. it ws real special bt what is hilarious 2 me is what it sells now, nt just bc of the food item, bt bc the mouse prob here ws EPIC+ i bet it still is. so epic the mice prob have a national festive holiday week marking the arrival of the ” big cheese”. good times….#fbf #flashbackfriday #music #art #love #life #liveoutloud #nyc #brooklyn #williamsburg #billyburg #boho(!)
