whn i cldnt busk n the subway id busk outside of manhattans astor place stop bc having the cube across the way 4 sound reflection made it fun( pre condo craziness) my 2nd fave outdoor spot ws near the fountain at the MET, bt that ws always really hard 2 get. i prefered the underground tho anyway( #cathedral #acoustics). shld also be noted tht i auditioned twice 4 the mta’s licensed ” music under ny” program+didnt make the cut, which just meant ive had more begging sessions w/ nypd ( “pleaaaaaase dont give me a ticket”) n my life than id of like 2 otherwise. best thing i learned from busking tho? that new yorkers are really some of the sweetest ppl on earth #throwbackthursday #work (Taken with Instagram)
